It is a sad fact that 82% of young people living in nursing homes never go out to visit their friends.Nearly half never go on trips to the shops or the movies or to sports events.
Building Better Lives is terribly important. It is about getting young people out of nursing homes and into accommodation appropriate for their age, where they can live and laugh with others.

The Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day unites us all in the fight against cancer. It is a time to help raise much needed funds and gives us the opportunity to celebrate those who have survived the terrible disease and those who fight tirelessly against it.
In 2007 Daffodil Day raised $7.9 million which was used to fund services, education and research programs into Cancer. This year they have set a target of $9 million. As we celebrate Daffodil Day on the 22nd August, Centastaff urge all employees and clients to support the Cancer Council. Biggest Morning Tea Campaign for the Cancer Council Victoria is officially being held on Thursday 22 May. Holding a morning tea at your workplace, home, club or school are excellent opportunities to get together with your friends, family and colleagues to make a difference. The Cancer Council Victoria raises money for cancer research, education and support services.
